 Ant, one of the most stunning creatures in this world, it has lots of abilities to make their day to day routine, intelligent, yes, one of the smartest creatures in this world, which can identify their food easily by their incredible smelling sense,  and they are well known for their teamwork and discipline. Many of us when we were young would have heard the example of Ants and their efforts from our teachers or parents; eventually, we have also observed them in our house. Ultimately speaking, our parents and teachers are right the ants are hard workers and they follow discipline and this is scientifically proven!!

 They are social insects, which means they live in large colonies or groups. Depending on the species, ant colonies can consist of millions of ants. Ant colonies also have soldier ants that protect the queen, defend the colony, gather or kill food, and attack enemy colonies in search of food and nesting space.

Ants are the one that human being sees as a devil in their home, but Myrmecologists are the one who loves ants like we love animals and birds. A myrmecologist is a person who studies ants and their nature, myrmecology is the study of ants. 

Ever wondered how ants move in a straight line when they are in search of food, the ant presiding the other will secrete a fluid-like chemical called pheromones from their tail, which helps the succeeding ant to follow the path by smelling it, this chain takes place till the reach the food and the way back to home. 

Ants carry their dead ones to their hives because of Necrophoresis, Necrophoresis is a behavior found in social insects – such as ants, bees, wasps, and termites – in which they carry the dead bodies of members of their colony from the nest or hive area. This acts as a sanitary measure to prevent disease or infection from spreading throughout the colony. 

 Craziest facts about Ants you might have never heard of:

 1. Ants are strong little devils! As a matter of fact, they can carry 50 times their own body weight!!!

2. The soldier ant is, quite literally, a soldier for the Queen. They use their heads to block entrances, stopping intruders from entering the nest.

 3. They have a larger muscle-to-body ratio than humans.

 4. If you added the mass of all the humans in the world and all the ants in the world, they would be equal. 

5. All of the workers in an ant colony are females. These females are all sterile. 

6. The sole purpose of a male ant in life is to mate. Once it has spread its seed, it will die. 

7. The butt of an Australian green Ant has a similar taste to lime. 

8. Ants are the only nonmammals that can learn via interactions. 

9. Ants have an exceptionally high-def sense of smell. Ants have four to five times more odor receptors than most other insects.

10. They have genes that make about 400 distinct odorant receptors, special proteins that detect different odors.

 11. Is there any way to get rid of ants, yes, white vinegar and spraying ordinary table salt solution would get rid of ants.
